Fail safe button for reporting
Started By
Have you ever accidentally hit the wrong button and reported a message you didn't want to report? Reported a person you have nothing against? Accidentally reported a thread that had nothing wrong with it?

Have you ever noticed that when you go to take an item off a dog, a small box pops up that says "Are you sure you want to remove this dog's *insert item name*?"

Why don't we have something like that for report buttons? I've accidentally reported people or threads or what-have-you before because I accidentally hit the wrong button. Then the mods and whoever on the great Ala staff have to deal with a false report. Why not save them a little time with these false reports?

If we could have a little window pop up that asks us if we are sure we want to report something, with a yes or no button, then accidental reports would happen far less often. Especially with messages. The report button is right under the reply button. It isn't horridly difficult to accidentally hit the wrong one.

Why have it for removing items from a dog and not have it for reporting things?

i think it should ask for everything even buying things with bones it is so easy to accidentally buy the wrong thing but a confirm button would be great

Support. I hate having caused the mods extra work every time I accidentally report a fine post.

Definitely support this. I've reported messages countless times when I try to reply on my iPod, since my callibration can be off sometimes XP
